Jikan is an invite-only game, and you must be invited by a current player to apply!

Applications are always open!

They will be processed at least once a week, so please don't contact me about your app unless it's been over a week! If you would like to expedite the process, please request to join jikan_rpg, jikan_network, and jikan_ooc upon submitting your application!

Auxiliary Character Application
If the character you want to play is deemed unappable due to limited/no canon appearances and is mostly headcanon-based, you have the option of applying as an Auxiliary Character. These characters will appear on the Taken List and will be subject to normal AC and character limit rules.

As these characters are essentially fandom OCs, you must have permission from existing castmates to app an Auxiliary Character, to ensure that headcanons regarding personality and backstory line up. If no existing cast is present, the character may not be apped. Please see the FAQ for more information.

You're in! Welcome to the game!

Here's a handy list of things you gotta do!

1. Fill out the Taken List form and request to join jikan_rpg jikan_network and jikan_ooc if you haven't already!
   
2. Create your Permanent Activity Check top-level for each individual character! You don't need to check in for your first month, but you must make a top-level!
   
3. If you haven't already taken a look at the Auxiliary Character page, please do so! Especially if your character is bringing an animal companion or family member into the setting.
   
4. Consider adding a small info and permissions post to your journal! There's a fancy code with game-specific options over here, but any ol' permissions form should work.
   
5. Strike a pose and introduce yourself!

Jikan's first event will go up on the 15th, but you're free to start posting in the game right away!
